Life on the road

I wish I would have kept track of how many different towns and hotels I've been in for work. Living out of a suitcase, constantly eating at restaurants, it gets exhausting. But with the break from the everyday workflow comes long days full of opportunities. It's impossible to not be constantly moving, shooting, improvising. Throughout all the tunnel vision of the job, I try my hardest to take a step back and experience things for myself, outside of the project.

The truth is that no matter how scripted you try to be, the location has a different idea. Yesterday was Arkansas, today is Oklahoma, and tomorrow, well, who knows.
