An evening with Chet Faker

For the last few years, my good buddy Kirk has been touring with Chet Faker (now going by Nick Murphy) and last week I was finally able to go to one of the shows.  The more I shoot live shows, the more driven I am to capture something a little different that what most people walk away with.  There's so much emotion in the performance that can sometimes go unnoticed with the energy of the music.  Every moment is part of the art form, not just the sounds.  I like walking away from that energy with a handful of images that represent all the feeling that went into that short amount of time.  The show was amazing and I highly recommend checking out his music.
